Theo, it’s good to have you back at FLY. Your last appearance with us in Edinburgh was marked as a standout set during FLY Open Air back in September… What have you been up to since then?

It’s great to be back, Open Air was quite a day/night! I’ve certainly been busy – touring a lot! I had a 16 state North America tour which was the experience of a lifetime and I’m pleased to say I’m heading back stateside again in May. In January I was lucky to play BPM Festival in Mexico, despite the tragic events on the final night, I loved it – we had an amazing week there. I’ve also played at some legendary venues like the Warehouse Project, Phonox, Sub Club  & Fuse in Belgium. It’s not all travel through, I’ve spent some quality time in the studio, finishing up a lot of new music, ready for the busy summer ahead!

Where are your favourite spots in Edinburgh for:

Drinks – The Raeburn & The Antiquary

Brunch – The Pantry

Dinner – Scran & Scallie (There’s a Stocky theme going here!)

Fun – Marcos Pool Hall

You’ve had a number of standout releases on both Anjunadeep and Moda Black, do you have any new material coming out?

Recently I’ve spent  time getting stuck into producing again, finishing off tracks ahead of a busy summer touring. Coming up, I have a remix of Rondo Mo who is ½ of Akase with Midland out on the 27th February on Fayer via K7 Records.

If you could go B2b with any DJ in the world (past or present) who would it be and why?

It would depend on the location…If it was somewhere sunny & serene I’d love to play with Lee Burridge, chilled warm vibes and the ADID sound go so well together. If we were getting the party started in a club…absolutely Gerd Janson, the DJ’s DJ.

As most people will read this outside of a nightclub environment, what are your top three tracks for easy listening on a Sunday afternoon?

Andy Shauf – Early To The Party

Blood Orange – On The Line

Kendrick Lamar – Sing About Me I’m Dying Of Thirst

I have a Spotify playlist which I try to update weekly with music I enjoy listening to at home:
